A bit of useless but curious trivia. Looking through the 1851 Census for Durham City, I found that not only was there a George Martin and a George Harrison living there, but also an Eleanor Rigby. You would have to approach 365 people to have an even chance of finding someone with your birthday. Stands to sense. If you have a group of 20 people, then there's an above even chance that two of them will share the same birthday. That's beacuse there are 400 potential pairings.

When did I start getting so pedantic, I wonder?

Actually there was an interesting feature on TV yesterday - apparently if you approach 35 random strangers there's an 80% chance of two exact same birthdays (day/month not year). Enter code here Please note: although no board code and smiley buttons are shown, they are still usable.

On a side issue... With a random selection of numbers the numeral 1 is the most frequent. IRC about 30% They actually caught somebody fiddling because there weren't enough 1s(he changed them to 7 or 9).
