I have 2 phones one is an android ancient that can't install new apps, my other is a simple and basic one which is my "going out phone".

If I'm turned away for not having the app, there are businesses that wouldn't care if you have it or not.

It's all very Draconian.

Don't worry GM. Just find a workplace that has a bar (House of Commons randomly springs to mind...). You don't need a track and trace app for work (like the pubs, happily the virus doesn't spread at work) and you can stay boozing in the bar past 10pm as it is not a bar at all, but a work place canteen.

There is more logic to all this stuff than first is evident....

I was in a coffee shop earlier, I got a lecture from some 'Ernest' (fool of moron). I am exempt from wearing masks because I was drinking but not having track and trace on my dumb phone. I told her that basic phones can't download apps and suggested I should get an upgrade the cheeky bitch.

In Boris' case I don't blame media; I think he's a victim of Covid19 and the long tail. By self indulgence he got fat (bad for lungs). He smoked (bad for lungs). Seems to be politicians trait of illness.

I'm glad I gave up smoking when I did and once the smoking ban in pubs was established everyone was happy even smokers.

Year's I have breathed in second hand smoke because of my line of work. However I do like the sweet aroma of pipe tobacco and cigar smoke.

I have no idea why they are lying to create fear anymore but they are.

Got taking to a man in the pub today. He recently lost his brother to lung disease caused by year's of smoking; the NHS trust put Covid as cause of death. He is now entering a long legal battle.

I wonder if many other death certificates are using covid as cause of death?
