It is not only that lockdowns will not work, ruin our society and take an estimated 200 000 lives; but they may be inadvertently sustaining the higher level impact of the virus.
This is because viruses evolve. There are milder and more serious strains.
It is evident that we are not dealing with the same virus as earlier in the year.
