TOPIC: Pfizer Covid19 vaccine
#203443
Pfizer Covid19 vaccine 4 Years, 8 Months ago
Pfizer - great news; I'm first in line for the vaccine (about to be 76 and diabetic). I've had the Flu jab for 15 years now and it has been wonderful. For the first time this year I had the pneumonia vaccine. Covid19 ASAP; next week with luck.

That be Shelagh Fogarty and James on LBC to be the first people to moan.

I am really pleased to hear this, Mr King. It will be a huge relief, I am sure.

Hope you get it next week; good news!

And hopefully vaccines mean the beginning of the end of the stoooopidest year in history.

According to Sky news I am sixth on the list, and Mr King third, but I cant seem to find out how long the expect the first phase to last for.

If we allow them a month per tier, all those of us who need it will have it by summer.

Can we please put Barney right at the front of the queue?

So you are aged somewhere between 16 and 64 Honey. I am too much a gentleman to ask you to be more precise!

At 48 from this link looks like I'm not getting it for a long time...which is of course positive in one way; but the "long tail" does concern me a little.

Yes I am all for crowd funding Barney into a care home; though he/she will have to settle on just one name for the forms!

Worth every penny, we hope.

Now we're borrowing heavily.

Just to stay alive!

Drop in the ocean compared to the billions we have borrowed to pay people not to work because we closed the economy down when we didn't have to.

And you will find that without a vaccine that only 0% of us are dying anyway most places.

Not my idea of a crisis; but each to their own...

So did every country on earth!

Only a handful didn't see their GDP reduced by more than 5% - and some by 30%.

The 5% or less GDP contractions occurred only in four countries.

Taiwan, Lithuania, Finland and South Korea - for different reasons.

Our curtailment of our economy was mirrored in over 99% of the world's nations.

And, ALL those nations would consider they had a crisis - a big one!

I am 60, Wyot. I am surprised you don't already know because I was so pleased about it I went on and on about it for ages.

They confirmed today that once they get down to the fifty year olds they will have eliminated 99 percent of deaths, but I do hope you get your turn pretty soon.
It might not be as common or deadly as they have made out, but it is a vicious virus if you succumb to it, and can leave lasting damage.

I couldn't give a rats arse how many countries on Earth or through the wider Galaxy panicked needlessly and ruined their economies.

I think for myself.

Yes it can be a very nasty virus to some I know. I had a suspicion you were 60 rather than 16 Honey! I hope you get your vaccine soon, as I do realise for those with some underlying health conditions these have been more stressful times than for others.

The vaccine is such good news.

One of the scariest sights and ideas I have woken up to GM!

The wisest of responses is:

"I would rather have a question I can't answer than an answer I can't question"

- Richard Feynman.
