Yet another Bob Woffinden crusade (as was my 2001 wrongful conviction) taking years to get sorted; however, this poor guy is still in jail for a crime he did not commit. I'm happily out here in the real world, twenty years later, still trying to get my appeal granted and conviction quashed.

Incredibly sad to see DNA now confirm that someone has been wrongly sentenced and locked up for years.

DNA advances now mean surely someome is less likely to be wrongly convicted of this kind of offence, involving a brutal forensic scene.

I have a theory though that DNA advances will mean capital punishment could return in years to come, as we remove doubts about guilt and the world becomes an angrier place...

DNA can never be reliable as long as stupid or unscrupulous people handle it.
