Trumps legacy... 3 Years, 3 Months ago
Is this.

This scene was not possible in modern US politics before Trump's years of sour, divisive nastiness.

And as this escalates we must remember it was his tribe that kicked it off:

Both wrong and premature to blame Trump.

As there was - as seen today - a very mixed bag of extreme protagonists who entered the Capitol. Social media randomly encouraged fringe people and eccentrics.

QAnon, Baked Alaska, Red Indians and Confederacy cranks etc. - amongst a few hundred extremists, freaks and attention seekers with online access.

Trump was on the sideline - to involve him is like blaming Harry Kane for the crowd trouble at the Tottenham Hotspurs ground.

Neither orchestrated or organised. Just a bunch of rumbustious rednecks in Washington to stir up the institutions on the Hill.

This is ridiculous.

Of course Trump didn't "organise" it and some odd bods also showed up.

But it is his people acting on his words. A sitting President. He gave them licence and encouraged them. People are dead. How can you make excuses for this?

Like Harry Kane.....ffs.

Trump initiated the riots yesterday, to claim anything else is dillusionary

It is like blaming Harry Kane for the crowd cheering after he scores a goal.
Some actions have very predictable reactions and Trump knew what the reaction would be to his words yesterday.

For your information - about the motley crew of extremists, who are simply impossible to categorise.

Most had no interest, connection or history with either the Republican Party or the President.

These types can be seen all over America with their own agendas (often bizarre) and regalia, symbols, flags etc.

Together with a willingness to turn up anywhere promptly - as long as they can be seen, and are able to talk to journalists.

I spend weeks spreading misinformation and hatred to a bunch of delinquents (one of whom I know has done time for arson) about the man who has moved into the street.

Eventually they set fire to his house. I never actually asked them to do so.

As the house is burning the local bag lady and homeless man come to the scene and stand with the kids gazing at the inferno.

They have no links with me at all; nor to the kids.

Their presence proves that it is not fair to blame me for the action of the kids, you say.

When someone says this makes no sense, you point them to an article proving that bag ladies and homeless men are commonplace...

Yes you can categorise them. They are called Trump supporters and they travelled to Washington to protest against the election result.

Yes they are a motley crew of extremists but thats the sourse of Trump's support

But nearly half of America are Trump supporters.
You get a few fanatics everywhere. They don't represent anything but a bunch of nutters.

Agree - no mention of the other carnage that Antifa caused in Portland.

I can’t find the names of the 4 that were killed but I know an officer was.

Barney you do know that there black Trump supporters at the Capital also ? Or does your bigotry on America fuck your brain up ??
