Interviewed him in the 1990s on Talk Radio; most impressed and told him (on air) to drop this silly Scottish Independence idea and become PM. He was taken aback and laughed. I'm not at all surprised to see him become a victim of the False Allegations Industry; accelerating its influence into politics (see Nigel Evans MP and others). The best people are often brought down by the little people.

He was ok on RT - however I hated his stance of breaking up the UK and Sturgeon is just Napoleon in drag.
Though I had already wondered about his judgment because of his overturning of a local council decision to protect an environmentally sensitive area in order to allow Trump to build a golf course (as if Scotland needed another golf course) and his having a regular slot on state-run Russian TV (presumably because he's flattered by the Russian regime hoping for the break-up of the UK), I was originally prepared to believe that he had been falsely accused of sexual assault. But I now doubt his claims of innocence. His bizarre claims of being the victim of a conspiracy - especially one involving Nicola Sturgeon, who seems very level headed - are just too much. He's behaving like a complete egotist and I do think an egotist with poor judgment would be capable of sexual assault.

What utter bollocks you do type Jo. George Galloway again on RT and fellow Scot has been against the break up for union for some time.
Well, then I'm in good company, judging by the stuff you post, Green Man.
George Galloway isn't the former First Minister of Scotland, not even close in terms of political status. But closely related to Salmond in terms of his ego, I'd say.
The media is having a field day. They were once good friends and now both seem to be intent on destroying each other. One way of getting past the blame game and the acrimony that is poisoning them both, is to dig a bit deeper.
I lean towards Jo's thinking. I read a little and find most of the incidents and accounts muddling. Also, what I read of the trial seemed to indicate Alex certainly did not come across as a character of discretion, blameless etc. But rather someone who "sailed close to the wind". Though the accounts pointed towards "..two to tango" situations I have no idea the outcome of the golf course or the windmill farm in the sea, but it was the moment I knew Trump was bad news. And of course time has shown his character is consistence. He would've been selling opium to China in the historical times of capitalistic trading.

Biden is already in China's pocket.
What is on Hunter Biden's laptop ?
A brochure for "Shady Pines" rest home?
He is certainly in women but I think he young and I mean young.
He's a narcissist and unluckily for him, his successor has gained more popularity than he could have dreamed of. She's also shown that through the pandemic to be a worthy leader.I believe that if Sturgeon was First Minister during the last Independence referendum then Scotland would be Independent by now. She gets the female vote and women just don't like him.
As Ms Sturgeon won't be giving evidence until tomorrow, for the first time - before a government committee (when any questions may be put, by both sides of the political divide) - isn't such a view somewhat premature?

Oh Barney darling you have accidentally quoted me out of context and ommitted "it looks like" before "he was fitted up".

No, because you have misquoted Wyot. "He was fitted up" is very different from "IT LOOKS LIKE he was fitted up".
Obviously, we will, hopefully, find out the truth soon.
