Yesterday was fabulous in London; clear blue sky. I had to pop around to my garage (MOT due) so whilst they were doing it I strolled around town; every Estate Agent open, ditto Opticians (why? Why not other shops? I simply cannot understand governments). So I went into one as one of my arms on my glasses had poked through the plastic causing a sharp metal spike to lacerate my ear on a regular basis, making me look like Van Gogh (my favourite painter). Whilst they were kindly mending it I bought another pair of stylish, attractive spectacles to suit my stylish, attractive face. £509!!! As I commented, I could have got them for £25 at Specsavers. And they cannot have cost more than £2.5 to make. Designer King is an expensive image to pamper.
