Australian AG Christian Porter has been accused of rape in a letter by a woman who apparently committed suicide after going to police.

Personally I loathe Porter but have to defend his right to presumption of innocence.

Needless to say the Twittratti and many journalists seem to know better and imply "no smoke = fire". It's not unlike the Pell controversy.
