Fawlty Towers cut. 4 Years, 5 Months ago
Offensive comments are to be chopped out.

Why don't these people put their efforts into stopping the racism, slavery and misogyny that is happening right now under their noses?

And, if I was offended by Fawlty Towers I would switch it off. I don't need telling what to find offensive, thank you all the same.

It's just crazy, these sitcoms aren't even racist.
Take Love Thy Neighbour it was laughing at racism and the white man was the butt of the joke.
Hardly racist.

A lot of these supposedly offensive jokes used in old sitcoms were hardly meant as racist at the time.

Just people trying to create trouble.

They're even dredging up old clips on Tik Tok and the media are making a story like the unearthing
of the Pop Idol clip where the judges disagreed about Michelle McManus.
Well they were right she wasn't a pop star. Big flop.
Nothing to do with her size anyway.

This is getting ridiculous - Major Gowen was a senile old drunk and we laughed at him not with him.

I agree Honey if I didn't want to something I would switch it off - there's loads of woke BS on BBC iPlayer and All 4 like drag shit and LGBT nonsense BUT no one is forcing me to watch it. Danny La Rue was always nice to my Nan every time she saw him and always had her in fits of laughter.

Only Fools and Horses is edited on DVD and TV it's actually near impossible to watch them fully uncut.

Why don't these people put their efforts into stopping the racism, slavery and misogyny that is happening right now under their noses?

Thing is Honey that requires effort and toppling statues over only adds more fuel to the fire.

Read Git-R-Done by Larry the Cable the book was published in 2005 but it warned us about PC killing comedy and TV. The references might be a tricky but with Wikipedia I am sure you will be okay.

I forgot all about her.

She is a mediocre singer and awful presenter. Mamma Cass was big and sold millions, Adele was big but no one cared about her appearance just the songs and voice just look her album sales.

I was in the supermarket when 21 was launched staff couldn't get them quick enough. It reminded when I was in Wal-Mart a few years ago and they had load Trace Adkins latest album - people were loading up their CD players in the trucks and cars before they left the car park.

I remember reading in a paper that Michelle McManus was moaning that they couldn't make a doll out of her because of her size; no love you were unmarketable from the beginning. Did she even go on tour or was it forgotten like
Liberty X last album ?
