TOPIC: Oprah, Meghan and Harry

Oprah, Meghan and Harry 4 Years, 5 Months ago
Very soon Meghan will tell us that her experiences in the UK were 'almost unsurvivable' - after using her time here as a springboard towards international recognition.

From a TV actress in the United States to being the most famous woman in the world. Craftfully engineered with the assistance of an unwitting Royal Family - and a naive young prince.

There'll be more programs about the skeletons and secrets of the Windsors - told to us regularly by one of their own, from Southern California. Unparalleled access has been established.

Harry is a plausible and genuine source of information and royal thinking - who will offer much to CBS, Netflix etc. To many observers, the ploy was obvious - and meticulously executed.

She is a narcissist and he is a love child and a half-brother.

I wouldn't be surprised if he took his chances on voiceover work on Disney movies. Give it time the American's will be bored with them.

He is really not a half brother. He could have been Hewitts, because it was a lie to say that him and Diana hadn't met until after Harry was born, but he is the image of both Charles and Prince Phillip.

The vague resemblance to Hewitt is because he looks a little like Charles Spencer, and is ginger, as are half of Diana's family.

Having now caught a few cringe-worthy minutes of Harry with James Cordon, I think the problem they will face in moving away from The Royal mystique to become "personalities" in their own right is the requirement for personality.

Secondly, don't diss The Queen you fools. The Americans may be momentarily curious about you; but they love her unconditionally.

H&M will I'm afraid just get increasingly desperate and vulgar as time goes on. After all, on their own, what else have they got to offer?

I can't see Harry in Charles nor Phillip - however I can see Charles and Phillip in William.

While I am not anti The Royals I am now wondering if this is what happens when an anachronistic (and functionally now pointless) institution is allowed to survive into the modern age? It changes from Alfred The Great to the UK's biggest reality TV show...

And can't Meghan play the media! However, I fear she may just be a little too transparant; her grasping and desperate core just a camera angle away.

Harry to me comes across as Mr Average bossed by the misses. If he'd fallen for an appropriately bred girl from Surrey he would still be happily playing polo and pretending to be a soldier in dangerous places.

Harry: as pointed out by Honey, red hair like Spencers + close-set eyes like Charles, sticking out ears like Charles, eyebrows lighter than hair like Charles (when younger), thinning hair like Charles, no freckles on face or full head of hair like James Hewitt.

Wyot, I agree about that James Corden interview. Harry seems a nice enough chap but didn't give much away personality-wise. Now that he's sacrificed so much (country, family, royal duties, military partonages, etc.) I wonder how his self esteem is going hold up.

Race card: I find it hard to believe that Archie doesn't have a royal title (Princess Anne's and Prince Andrew's grandchildren don't either) because someone (Queen? Prince Philip?) was wondering what shade he'd be. A bit crass to voice it, maybe, but in a world where racism exists I'd be surprised if that thought didn't cross the minds even of parents about to produce a mixed race child.

Was watching Panorama yesterday about Dubai's Princess Latifa, white-faced from being held prisoner indoors, seemingly in the same clothes she had on when she fled the UAE and denied even basic things like a toothbrush. Then the news this morning of this pair of privileged whiners.

The problem for The Royals is they can't put the comment in context or defend themselves. What if the Royal was Charles and he said something like: "I wonder how the racist element in the UK will respond if the baby is darker skinned?". Racist or concerned Grandfather?

Having said this I am friends with a guy who lives on the Frogmore estate, and whose partner is equerry to the senior Royals & The Queen. I am under no illusions about the views and comments of some of The Royals and those in their world.

H&M though: What no one seems to be asking is why are they doing this? Why are they trying to damage the Monarchy? They owe everything to the luck of Harry being born into the Monarchy. The media are of course having a field day but as you say Jo the overall impression is of a a pair of priviliged whiners...

I see this going one of two ways: H&M damage themselves more than the Royals; or more will come and the woke generation won't let it go; and perhaps it is time now they were challenged and called out. Let's face it everyone has known about Phillip's racism for years so why any of this is a shock I don't know.

Maybe we will see Charles and Andy grimacing through an unconscious bias training course next year.

Masks on, of course.

You sound well connected, Wyot! Would love to be a fly on the wall at that kind of training.

Oprah says that, according to Harry, the comment wasn't made by the Queen or Prince Philip.

I sound well connected Jo but aren't. My friend runs my local pub. He just happens to live on the estate with his partner who works for the Windsors.

But the stories when his partner and a few of the royal stables staff have come in and got pissed (and my God like their employers they can put it away).

But I should probably shut up about that...

If it wasn't Liz or Phil....maybe Harry is trying to dump his brother in it and stop him becoming King!

The American exposure will show up the Firm as living in the 30s - with deference, dated customs, privilege and smugness. In a modern world, with driverless cars - whilst theirs have chauffeurs.

Series like The Crown will now be seen as accurate and allegations of racism - and being joly rotten to the new girl - accepted as normal occurrences. Some will remember Diana's treatment.

H&M have put the Firm under a global proton microscope - and, perhaps, not before time. Comparisons, criticism and abuse are on their way - with every minutae of our monarchy targeted.

So in other words it’s a posh version of Jerry Springer Show ? Note; that incest is nothing out of the ordinary in the Royals.

I don’t know how anyone can buy in their bullshit !

I have tried to analyse your findings Jo, all I see is Hewitt in Harry.

I don’t get why people bring up race on every subject, majority of people don’t care about skin colour or sexuality ?

Why would anyone want to be In James Corden company ? I had to take my bar manager outside to get fresh air because he was going to hit Corden and I mean really hit him or least kicked him to the ground. Corden is a foul, obnoxious twat and bully. I wouldn’t of minded if the bar manager decked him but I didn’t want to clean up the mess nor go to court; Corden surely did deserve one though and he wasn’t even drunk either.

Re:Oprah, Meghan and Harry 4 Years, 5 Months ago
My lengthy ramblings while it was on.

The dresses..
Oh dear. Probably Meghan cried, and Kate cried, and Charlotte cried, over the same thing but not in front of each other, so nobody knew and nobody lied.
It was a trivial misunderstanding.

Incidentally, nobody can make anyone else cry.

Perpetuating lies..
I think it is very sad that Meghan describes the establishment as protecting Catherine and not her, not realising that only the monarch and heirs are important, and she could never be the star, just a member of the chorus.

Welcoming at first...
If attitudes changed after they got back from Australia, it might be because it is alleged that while she was there she threw hot tea at an assistant in the embassy. (I don't know if this is true, and presumably neither do the Royals)

About the title...
It is just the grandchildren of the monarch who get the titles. Not great grandchildren. So Archie was not entitled.
I am sure she must know this?

Racist to Archie...
The poor girl is paranoid and unwell. To think Archie was deprived of a title for being black is ridiculous.
Note that this is relayed by Harry. Possibly gaslighting.
She is dependent on him now and he is her saviour.
Swine.

She is right that having royals of all colours and histories is an advantage, and everyone seemed so pleased at the start.
It makes no sense that they would suddenly turn into Alf Garnett after they had spent millions on a wedding.

Refused help?
There is no reason why Harry could not have got her help. He was running a mental health charity for goodness sake.
Other royals have had help, including him.
Maybe he didn't want her to have help?

I noticed the knuckles at the time. It seemed forceful rather than protective.

Suicidal people present in many ways, and the threat is often used to control and manipulate carers, yet at the same time, the attempts to die can be serious and real.
I am horrified that someone could be not listened to, and dragged off to the albert hall.

Poor me poor me.
If security was cut off, they were effectively fired?

They wanted a part time role with full status and security? On your bikes!

Harry is implying that Meghan has changed his attitude. He is Scapegoating her. He can be vile as he likes and she gets the blame. Horrible man.

Money...
So Charles cut off the money from his workshy adult son and stopped talking to him?
Probably the biggest favour anyone has done for Harry. Go Charles!

Disney?
The little mermaid was the prince's second choice and he only liked her for her looks. What is she on about?
I bet the baby will be Ariel Diana.
By the way Meghan, Your prince is looking like a big fat warty frog!

Maybe Harry is like his father is portrayed on the Crown, and doesn't want to be overshadowed by his wife? Is he deflecting? He does seem to like the limelight.

Harry "micro-smiled" when Oprah suggested Megxit was her fault. He is pleased.

Prisoners of privilege...
Harry is showing a bit of a temper about being trapped. What an aggressive little get.

Destitute and homeless...
Forced to sign up with netflix and spotify by poverty and its all Daddy's fault? HAHAHAHA

Thank goodness for Diana's millions. He might have ended up on the streets.

He has showed the most emotion of all while discussing the money being cut off. Says a lot.

I know best...
Tried to educate them like he has been educated? I hope they told him to sod off.

He is never going to share the conversation about the mystery racist? Unless Charles coughs up?
He is saying it was at a different time to Meghan's account.
You know what they say about liars and good memories?

Why does he think he needs so much money to keep them safe?
More than the actual queen? Surely not.
Always somebody else's fault isnt it?

I love how he calls his family cruel thick racists and says time heals all wounds. I think he might find it doesn't.

So, it looks they were fired because one is a manipulative gaslighting bully, and the other is very fragile, unwell, and away with the fairies.

It was a very clear threat from Harry to come up with the goods or more "damaging" stuff will come out.
I don't believe a word he was saying, and I am very concerned for Meghan.
