So this is how it goes. The IOPC are not just toothless; they exist to protect bent cops. They have already decided Surrey Police failed properly to investigate my complaints that they covered up misconduct and possible crimes committed by officers (such as contributing to, or causing, deaths). And they declared Surrey Police had been punished enough (by suffering bad media publicity - diddums). They will either find the Met did not breach discipline OR that bent cops should be punished by having to go onto a "management course" (an afternoon in Milton Keynes being told not to use pencils in notebooks).

And most of the media happily colludes with this shit. After all, cops deliver GREAT stories. Keep 'em sweet.
