TOPIC: Hilarious Oxford AZ Panic
#206879
Hilarious Oxford AZ Panic 4 Years, 4 Months ago
A mirror of the stupid over reaction to Covid19 (promoted by media, of course - it's a GREAT story). Having said that I'm glad I had the two Pfizer jabs. But we all know these vaccines require regular changes and tweaks (look at Flu and the tragic 2017-18 deaths in England & Wales that nobody noticed - no media = no panic).

But this ironic madness is just hilarious. God has a sense of humour.

I laughed out loud at an article yesterday informing us that humans are animals who see patterns in data (re vaccines and blood clots) that aren't real and mistake apparant correlation with causation unquestioningly.

This was online in The Guardian or Observer - bastions of Covid orthodoxy....Aaaaaarggh!

How has everything suddenly lost scale in this world? It is disorienting at times.

Sadly JK many people believe in the media and the shit that politicians say.

I have no idea if majority people are now refusing their appointments due to the "blood clots"; however though I can see media, WEF and WHO rubbing their hands in glee with further lockdowns and business closure.

I did see some shops yesterday with some staff inside whom were sorting out their Christmas stock so there could be some hope for some normality in April.

Why do people wear masks in cars and harass those with the green lanyards saying to to them "Where's your mask ?" you can't miss the green laynard's even under the coats. Why don't people mind their business ?

Today Germany pulls out too; I don't find the blood clots thing worrying but I do find the fact that nobody over 65 was tested before it was OK'd, odd. Then add in the blood clots and it begins to look as though Government pressure made it confirmed earlier than it should have been. Now belatedly another media hype panic. Humans are getting stupider and stupider.

Hard to know who one can believe anymore. Scientists from WHO or nation states? Vaccine ok or stop it immediately. We know both WHO and national Govs will respond disproportionately and rashly to media coverage after the Covid panicdemic. So who to believe anymore?

It could just be that our Gov has over promised again - this time on the vaccine supply. It could be this is their way of stopping the Oxford vaccine without admitting there is a problem (I would put little past them now; even allowing injections of the remaining stock despite knowledge of unacceptable risk levels).

Either way, how is there a means to discern anymore?

That's exactly it; I simply repeat "masks are worse than useless" and use common sense.

Not all masks. A properly fitted FFP3 (best) or FFP2 or N95 gives good protection.

A bit of cloth loosely slung across the gob and repeatedly mauled with filthy hands probably makes things worse.

Ah yes Honey I was using sarcasm; the lowest form of wit. When "experts" said "masks are worse than useless" I asked then why did hospital staff wear them. They replied I should not buy one as PPE was needed for hospitals. By then I'd already bought my excellent, reuseable mask (which I've worn when needed for over a year now).

My common sense beat all the "experts" hands down then and still does now.

Have you noticed that those of us who are ranting about the stupidity of the rules and forever lockdowns are the most enthusiastic about masks and hand-cleaning?

Of the people I know, the ones who have the rainbow NHS posters in the window and tell everyone to stay the "F" home (The f must make a difference ) and wont hear a word against the government, are the most likely to breathe in your face, go to parties, and wear masks on their chins.

Doesn't matter if they do breathe on you does it Honey? 0.06% of pupils have tested positive in schools since returning (includes false positives, so possibly 0.000000%).

This must be a pretty accurate measure of wider infection levels. At what point are we testing for nothing? If the tests aren't accurate then what is the point of them?

At what point with Covid are we talking about something that only really exists in the mind!?
