I've mainly kept out of this since I must be honest I only know what I've seen and read; i.e. very little. But it strikes me as two normal, decent, nice young people who fell in love and one of them had no idea what she was getting into; which is a nightmare. Fame is wonderful in small doses as long as you control it. Which isn't easy. Mainly the media controls it, for its own benefit, and naive innocents can be destroyed by it. I know; I've seen it, watched it, experienced it. I love it for the good things and try to protect myself from the bad. Fortunately my fame has always been limited and controllable.

All the signs from early on were that the moment Meghan decided she was not going to be used by the media, pouting sensually on front pages, preferably with a bit of tit exposed, the media would turn against her. That's what's happened. No fault of hers or the Palace.

All I know is I would not want a Meghan level of fame for all the money on earth. I couldn't think of anything worse. Or the curse and enormous bad luck of being born into The Royal Family, for that matter.

I can understand why a level of fame could be fun; but this is something different: a prison on many different levels. Why H&M don't just shut up and keep as low a profile as they can I have no idea. You only have to look at any pop/rock star at that level of fame (apart from maybe Bowie after he straightened out) and they all go around the twist, one way or another.

I am absolutely astonished that you are unbothered about false accusers telling PROVEN lies against someone, and the world preferring to believe the false accusers.

Admittedly I'm not following this story closely honey but what were the proven lies?

I've always said about False Accusers that it is the situation which allows them to exist and that Police and Media are the Enablers; far worse offenders.
