Hilarious story of The Queen, the snapper and the BBC... 17 Years, 10 Months ago
On the day the North of England is seething with "How dare you say the media inflated the Harold Shipman coverage?" we see the media totally inventing the "Queen storms out" story - the BBC invent it and the rest of the media, ruled as always by the vital principle "is it a good story?" go along with it unchecked and unquestioned.

I have to sympathise with the Queen over all the clothing and regalia she must be tired of putting on, this can`t get any easier as you get older.
My mum wouldn`t like it.

I'm not so sure this was fabricated by the BBC in the first place. I'd be more inclined to believe the truth was retracted after a little pressure from the palace.
Then again, what do I know. I'm just a humble serf!

Adios,

Agree it's probably not the BBC.
It's by an independent production company and I assume they set up the press viewing.
Anyway, old lady slightly bored by photographer isn't really headline news is it?
