Who cares? Certainly not me. Media cares (it's a good story, they think). Opposition cares (stupid people criticising stupid people). For God's sake, with all the other problems, who cares?

Media have got it right - good story; click bait. Opposition as ever have got it very wrong - everyone already knew Johnson was a lying, corrupt, self-interested clown but voted him in anyway.

There's no evidence of that - but, donations are common for redecorating political properties, and are no big deal.

For example - in the early nineties - the Oval Office was tarted up for the then President Clinton, and many contributed.

Including one Jeffrey Epstein, to the tune of $10,000. And notwithstanding his female liason(s), Clinton achieved much.

No evidence of corruption then? It's not surprising though - as Boris and his party received the largest personal vote in 50 years.

And won 365 seats (a majority of 80) by getting 14 million votes from the electorate.

Or was the nation conned into electing a corrupt Prime Minister?

I retract my comment unreservedly Barney. Now you have reminded me Boris won an election, I too can see that it must follow logically from this that he is not a corrupt individual.

Previous Prime Ministers have redecorated the house to suit their tastes.

Boris’ election victory in December 2019 was mainly the result of his bosses’ obsession with keeping Jeremy Corbyn from becoming PM.

They get thirty thousand for decoration, which you would think would be enough, as they are not expected to be there for long.

Prime ministers are always going on freebie holidays too, aren't they?
Tony Blair was a guest of Cliff, and Richard Branson, If I remember right?
Did they get something in return?
