Not least Superintendent Ted Hastings, who millions will be watching this weekend - in the Line of Duty series finale.

This was the first film I saw Forest Whitaker in and because he played a British character so convincingly I just assumed he was a British actor.

If I remember correctly, Stephen Rea played a rather cuddly character in that film, a terrorist who couldn't bring himself to pull the trigger, but I later read something rather off-putting about Stephen Rea, i.e. that he was married to an IRA woman who had been involved in the murder of Jean McConville. Wikipedia says she had been involved in other terrorist activity too.

Me too Jo on Forest - been a fan ever since; he was brilliant in it. Ditto Rea who is fantastic in it; Jaye Davidson (totally convincing - this film was made 30 years ago!). Jim Broadbent early on. Miranda Richardson (superb baddie). First Adrian Dunbar I ever saw. Tony Slatterly. But script and direction (Neil Jordan) were the cherries on the cake. Fantastic movie.

Jo most celebs I have served were dodgy, odd, had seedy stories, abusive , whinge bags. Then there’s sweet.

Cheryl from Bucks Fizz and the rest were a joy to serve but they can moan. They made a little money purely singing over a backing track, pulling off skirts and Eurovision. It’s not no one’s else’s fault if you didn’t look after your royalties.
