Alan Partridge on Prime Time 4 Years, 3 Months ago
doing Morning Television; I thought it was hilarious - delightful satire disguised as comedy.

It must be just me. I loved the Character for year's but when I read his 'autobiography' I just completely unfunny and Alpha Papa did nothing for me.

I saw Steve Coogan live it was completely hit and miss, when he did Alan the audience erupted.

When it was over, people said why didn't he do the whole show as Alan ? I saw their point but there was some very skits when he was Duncan Thickett.

I was very impressed when he portrayed Stan Lauren in Stan & Ollie.

While I don't think it is up there with earlier Patridge I am enjoying the new show. I watched Stan & Ollie recently and really enjoyed it; thought Coogan was terrific.

I thought the last series of "This Time" was pretty lame and the character is getting pretty tired and predictable. EVery character Steve plays (Tony Wilson, Paul Raymond) are about 90% Steve Coogan and 10% the character he was playing, although I think his Stan Laurel was a big improvement on past performances.

Loved Stan & Ollie..a terrific treatment of the story.

Alan Partridge is superb satire. Wonderful

I like Coogan's stance against the Rotten Media

Have a funny feeling I might not like him personally (probably loathe me )

Aren't you part of the "rotten media" little Hedda ?

Personally I like to see news channels shut down, newspapers banned and journalists facing firing squad. Of course I waiting to see a truthful politician and I doubt Robin Cook died from natural causes.
