You MUST have the jab; all the world went for testing, tracing, slowing the spread. Generally stupid UNLESS vaccines arrived; simply postponing the inevitable. Look at India. I worry about Down Under now the Covid season (like flu) is upon you. Only the over 60s need worry but care workers, health people and the obese (and smokers) should get the jab NOW. Totally unimportant for the under 60s and healthy. VITAL for the few vulnerable (like me - 76 and diabetic). I had both jabs months ago (Jan & Feb).

I'm now a diabetic as well and jabbing myself with insulin (one of my brothers died from it 22 years ago)
# the cancelling of all elective surgery in 2020 was to my advantage as I had hospital beds, doctors and nurses (from all over the world) almost to myself as they uncovered that I was a complete walking wreck if not a medical mystery.

Apart from only being 39 (have been for years and years) I still haven't been tested even though every single day I drive past a lovely drive in Covid testing station right on Bondi Beach.

Now I have a frightful cold I'm a bit frightened to drive in and get tested in case they whip me away to a Maximum Security Covid Holding Facility.

The problem here with the vaccine is that the Federal government have been weirdly slow & totally stuffed up getting the vaccine. While the states administer it , they can't do it if the Feds don;t give it to them. Amazing when you think 130 million Yanks have already had it.

Below is the Bondi test centre which is almost at the end of my street. I think I'll be brave and go there tomorrow.
