Labour problem... 4 Years, 3 Months ago
Labour have lost the working class vote to the Tories because they no longer represent them. Labour tells them off for being racist if concerned about immigration levels in their towns, phobic about anything if they don't follow the latest "woke" fad, and provided no opposition in the past year to the destruction of working class jobs through lockdowns. I don't think there is a point to Labour anymore; outside of trendy London sets who feel virtuous signalling they are NOT Tory by voting Labour.

At least 5 of the reasons apply to the entire UK

what do you expect with Keir Stramer? charisma of a wet towel .

Boris is an outrageous bore and scoundrel but he's successfully made himself seem interesting.

I think all present incumbent governments will survive while there is a pandemic.

Bores don't get vaccine strategies right!

See #2 here though - he'll be around for longer than Blair or Thatcher.

The voters have spoken....

I think you are probably right Hedda. It is that "war footing" feel that a lot of people have been persuaded we are on - and people don't want change at the mo. Still Churchill was roundly kicked out after he'd served his use in WW2...(not that I am comparing Boris to him!) But labour will have to remove the wet towel asap...

Most lawyers are boring people.

Then again so are news presenters.
