The frightening thing is not that Boris, a superficial charmer with no depth whatsoever, really thinks the way to destroy COVID is to vaccinate the world, but that most punters, equally superficial, believe him without any thought or analysis at all.

Like Flu and the Common Cold, this is here to stay. It is not a dangerous plague. It is not a "killer" of millions. It is just another trivial virus that our species will control, like Flu and Colds. It is not like Ebola. Yes - Smallpox was more like Ebola and needed to be defeated. It killed the majority who caught it. Likewise TB; Polio.

But this is NOT like that; it is a trivial virus, easily dealt with by vaccines. Young, healthy people do not need vaccines; indeed, should not have vaccines or they will stop being able to deal with it like Flu. Why do you think we don't vaccinate the young against flu?

The vulnerable should be vaccinated. Otherwise, if they catch it, like flu it might kill them.

You see the big question is - did Covid get exaggerated by media or is it a really nasty killer new virus?

The clue for me is the ease that vaccines were discovered.
