Poots has now been ousted and the new First Minister is expected to go shortly - with the whole situation being watched closely by Sinn Fein.

SF are the Catholic opposition and are revelling in the DUP disarray. But no one will benefit from a lack of leadership, bearing in mind the problems caused for Northern Ireland by Brexit.

Problems caused by the Protocol and Brexit are not being addressed - with NI in the EU Single Market, unlike the rest of the UK.

Direct rule from Westminster is again a possibility, as is a General Election.

And the relationship with the Republic is worsening because of import/export-Brexit related difficulties for goods on the island.

With rising tensions on both sides of the political divide - and border - there's a fear that the Good Friday Agreement could be compromised by events

Elections don't change a thing - because all politicians are slime and don't give a flying fuck for the commoners.

Bedlam in Belfast again this week.

The third DUP leader, in two months, is to be elected.

Unless some more unexpected events occur.


Interference/involvement of politicians - from London, Dublin, Brussels and Washington - isn't making decisions easy.

Particularly those concerning the trade barrier in the middle of the Irish Sea - which is creating havoc for NI trade.

The new logo-chant of the DUP - ignoring their own internal warfare, disputes and massive disagreements.

But it was Boris who left Ulster/NI in the EU - as part of the EU Single Market. Leaving major dilemmas, Protocol/Biden etc.
