Likely to soon be a requirement for travel (here and abroad) and essential for day-to-day existence in most countries.
Yes it is; so congratulations to you and everyone else out there who are incapable of lateral thinking. You should form a support group (passports ready at the door!)

Pubs, restaurants and entertainment venues will only be accessible to double-jabbed individuals - with passports.
Good news for the hospitality industry, and an easy add-on to the existing NHS app - being used for identification purposes.

For identification purposes? Why? Why do we need to identify ourselves to go in a pub or restaurant?
They can sod right off. I haven't got the app. I don't want one. And I wont be having a covid passport either.
How can it be good news for hospitality? Good news for hospitality would be to do away with the stupid things so people could go to pubs as normal without all the off-putting palaver.

By allowing more freedom - in terms of travel and access - with less restrictions and curtailment. These are highly desirable after lockdowns.
Instead of allowing everyone to go everywhere, passports are the best means to reward the wise - whilst encouraging more to vaccinate.
No. It is thoroughly revolting to allow young people to give up their freedom to protect the older ones, and then laugh in their faces down the pub and at the airport.

Are you a Judge in real life Wolfgang? You have a certain tone that makes me think of people wearing wigs and wielding gavels..

Don't quite understand that logic - shouldn't all those who are vaccinated not be prioritised over those who decide to ignore this pandemic?
It isn't those who decide to ignore it, Barney. It is people who are too young to have had both vaccinations, and many have sacrificed their jobs, houses, health, education and mental well being, when they were never in danger in the first place.
It would be like someone assisting you into a horse carriage, and you driving off before they have a chance to climb up.
