TOPIC: rapid tests

rapid tests 4 Years, 1 Month ago
Another muddled rule.

If you are "pinged" by the app you have to isolate for ten days even if you test negative each day, because you can transmit the virus before it shows positive.

But...

You can go and breathe over thousands at a football match if you can show a negative rapid test result (which might be your mate's)

And people are actually ENJOYING this crap!

Only the fools. Most people are waking up and carrying on - I was out this morning in shops more and more people have binned their masks.

The system isn't designed to be foolproof - if it was, we'd all have to wait for an email to go to the shops...

Either it shows you are not infectious, or it doesn't.
And if it doesn't, how is it protecting us from this "deadly" disease?

All this stuff has ever done is protect leaders from accusations they aren't doing anything; and sadly it seems to have worked. They felt they had to do things because of the power of the media. Thus it perpetuates.

Really noticeable too where I am GM. The loonies walking outside with masks have nearly disappeared and they are going fast in shops too now. Surely reflects that no one is dying anymore. We will move on; it is just painfully slow after a year of conditioning.

I don't mind what they do, but doing two opposite things at the same time is beyond farce. Especially when some think it is quite normal.

The government - in the knowledge that people will lie about their covid status for their own gain or convenience - came up with a flawed monitoring system.

Flawed too was the overall handling of this minor virus (in most other countries too). But the rapid development and expedition of a potent solution is admirable.

A flaw? How is it a flaw to say " you have had a rapid test therefore you are not infectious and welcome to a football match"

And at the SAME TIME- " if you are pinged you isolate for the full ten days because you can be infectious before you test positive".

Are you infectious or not?

A flaw is a tiny mistake nobody has noticed, or is too trivial to matter.
Are you suggesting that the entire shower of buffoons governing us have not noticed?
Do you think nobody has told them?

If it was a flaw, it would be rectified, what with people losing ten days pay and everything!

No "flaw" just politics and treating us like idiots.

The Gov are currently reassuring 2500 UEFA "dignitaries" that they won't need to quarantine if the Euros final is held at Wembley. If this was ebola do you think they would even be coming?

I read an "insider" piece the other day about No 10 - no one when they get through the door takes any notice of social distancing or masks etc; never have. They can do basic maths and don't feel the threat.

Barney/Wolfgang/Butterbean (whatever name he is this week)- and the millions like him - is essentially an innocent who can't get his head around such stupidity and duplicity being practised by those in power on the scale it is. Not because of a conspiracy; but because they are terrified of the media.

But Barney/Wolfgang/Butterbean - really pleased that we have been able to help you see that the virus (in context) is "trivial" and has been grossly inflated. Even if you didn't refute your MSM platitudes of the past year or apologise for your relentless nonsense I salute your progress and welcome you to the cause.

My work has not been in vain...

The elite part of the Davos corps had no masks or bothered with social distancing when they thought the camera's were off.
