I get dozens of messages asking me why I try to swim for 5 hours a day - 6 months of the year. I only like doing it in pools (don't like the salt in seawater). Must be blazing sunshine. Only breast stroke. Great for stretching the muscles. Good for the joints. Opens the lungs. Exercises the heart. Great for breathing. Great for thinking. Blood circulation. Respiratory system. Gives me an appetite.
Covid tried to stop it last year but I got a month in January 2020 - then off the moment Lockdown 1 ended (July 1st) for 4 months. Missed my winter break so a month short for 2020. Making up for that in 2021.
And the young man who took my photo was amazed I'm 76. Said I look 50.
