Well said. I have passed a point with "Barney" now where I think the best approach is not to feed the narcissism at all and if I know it is Barney I won't now respond. He is a wind-up merchant; misquoting and misunderstanding other posters quite deliberately; coming on under multitudes of names; pretending he has a gay son and goodness knows what else he invents. I have gone out of my way to be nice, because he seems deeply unhappy, but enough is enough, so from today
I will not be reading or responding to his posts.

I have no idea why he attempts to disrupt the forum, because Mr King has, so far, been accommodating beyond the call of duty.

We are in a situation where we are wary of responding to new posters in case it is bloody Barney, and everyone, new or old, is put off posting because of the silly fuss.
Some have already been driven away.
