An intelligent doctor on BBC News just said the vaccines are 100% responsible for the collapse in the death rate from Covid.
She clearly knows that it is not, in any way, that Covid may be altering, that new "variants" are even less lethal than previous versions.
She clearly knows it is NOT, like flu, that seasonal variations can have an impact.
She is not stupid and she's far better informed than I am, so am I the stupid one, wondering about numerous other reasons that Covid, never lethal for the vast majority, may be changing? I'm sure vaccines have had an impact (I've always been a vaccine fan; had the flu one for ages). But is it really the ONLY reason?
Because, if so, surely we are about to see serious problems in areas without vast vaccine coverage.

She KNOWS it's not that those vulnerable (i.e. very old) have now died so there are fewer vulnerable. She KNOWS all this. I know nothing. So am I the stupid one?

Yes it is a curious killer virus that has been 100% controlled by vaccines when only 49% of people in England have been vaccinated. She is inadvertently highlighting that it has not been a particularly lethal virus. The deaths were always concentrated in a vulnerable few; who have now been vaccinated or as you say have now died.

Understandably they want this all to end, though, so are banging the vaccine drum to avoid another wave of vulnerables dying later this year.

Fine. It would be helpful if the spreaders of pseudo-science and conspiracies would shut up and we get all adults vaccinated so we can move on. You are right about all the other factors; but perhaps the doctor is right not to go there and feed the conspiracy theorists.

Bang the vaccine drum and let's all for God's sake move on...

Very little is said about the importance of breathing well in a time of repetitive fear-mongering.

There is an awful lot more "cases" than are recorded, because there is no need for anybody to report the results of the instant tests everyone has.

As far as I can see (anecdotally) MOST of the vulnerable people did actually get jabbed despite them bleating about it being a microchip or Bill Gates's death pill, and MOST of the unjabbed are those who were not much at risk in the first place.

It looks like this version is quite bad because I am hearing more of people feeling very rough indeed, rather than symptomless like the first few months,
but not bad enough to need treatment, mostly.

So they could just let young people carry on catching it, and it would be fine, except that the more it spreads the more it mutates, and a mutation might cause the whole flipping palaver all over again.

Most concerning thing for me in this article is those calling for restrictions not to be lifted (even in schools) because of "long covid". We are not even talking about death anymore.

How far will this insanity go...?

It won’t go Wyot. Boris is drunk on power and he is also puppet for the WEF.

Build back better = Great Reset.

I agree, it won't go away. I don’t know about you but my breathing always takes a nose dive though, whenever I worry too much about things or get confused by all the mixed messages. This usually doesn’t become clear until much later when I start to feel tired for no apparent reason. There’s little I can do about outer insanity. It’s easy to get drawn into it at the expense of neglecting the inner life.
