Both the Euros and Wimbledon feature Italy today in the finals; an incredible achievement for the only country to have suffered almost as much as the UK from PanicDemic. I'm in Rome so even though I'm rooting for England, obviously, I'll be celebrating whoever wins tonight and the young Italian tennis star Matteo deserves to beat Novak although I think Djokovic is brilliant.

And just a thought on England; Harry Kane (truly back on form) for me symbolises the spirit of the team with both his goals; that header was incredible (he was almost on the ground - how on earth did he manage to reach that ball?) and his instinct - instant - to kick that rebound, exactly right in moment, aim and time. Making the most of moments; that is a key to winning; far superior to talent, energy, youth.

That, Gareth's fashion sense and Sterling's gorgeous smile will be the overwhelming memories of Euros2021 for me, whether or not we win.
