when Governments (globally) need to step in to save humanity from itself. Take smoking. It would save millions of lives (far more than taken by stupid Covid) if tobacco was banned. Everywhere. Yes like bootleg alcohol it would still be manufactured for those who like to poison themselves but it would be illegal (like marijuana). But we need to draw the line between individual choice and laws. Likewise alcohol. Likewise infectious diseases like Flu. I'm a huge fan of vaccines - but voluntary. Allow people to decide. That was why I hated Governments and Gullibles falling for the media hype and exaggeration on Covid. To me it reeked of Nazi Germany. Great - restrictions now voluntary not legal. From Day One common sense should have dominated. But it's hard to persuade people the Emperor has no clothes on. Just look at the False Allegations Industry.
