It is reasonable to take precautions to stop it, but quite revolting to turn it into a money making scam like so many charities, and to browbeat people with your eco holiness.

Anybody who thinks we "need" to be vegan and consume chemical laden nutrient deficient fake meat is a gullible fool.
Eat it if you enjoy it, but be aware that when they say it is "plant based" they mean processing plants, and all for the benefit of just a few rich people.

I remember when acid rain was going to destroy everything even crops in the 1980's. I am still waiting for it.

I don't mind people making money (and so employing people) through the "green economy" and doing the planet good at the same time. Profit motive and positive outcomes have never seemed to me to be a problem; or necessarily in conflict. In fact the profit motive will drive invention and intervention.
