Re:Shocking Footage: Cop Roughs Up 16 Year Old Youtuber! 3 Years, 10 Months ago
FFS that ghastly "first amendment auditing" & "Freeze Peach" claptrap has spread to the UK? (they're in Australia too)
They call them "frauditors" in the US as it's nothing about the US Constitution and more about deadbeats with a smart phone abusing or harassing public sector workers, cops etc in the hope of clicks on Youtube to support their welfare payments.
They all lie about how much they make..so easy to check on payments.. but any $$ is OK I guess.
Many US states are passing local laws to ban them interfering with cops in an investigation (traffic stops etc) as it's deemed it puts the officer in danger if his attention is diverted.
Now the frauditors are arguing they have a "set distance" they can record from which is hogwash of course as police can deem any zone around their "investigation" to be a police zone which cannot be crossed.
I mean what was the point to that little video and he'll get his day in court (not convinced by the whimpering and cops all have body cams now which will also show what happened).
If they were serious they'd have real cameras like the media do who can record from a 100 feet away in safety. Now every bozo with a Smart Phone thinks they are an "investigator" or "journalists" (BYW- Washington just deemed You tubers were not media). Other States bound to follow

I agree with you Hedda.
They could be putting the police station in danger of arson etc.
I have read the American Constitution have I haven't heard anything about this audition.
Even Alex Belfield who has his own battle with the police. He doesn't get why people do it also. It's just harassment.

of course we don't know what happened after filming vision stopped and sound continued.
If he was suspended they must have had a reason.
filming around a police station is idiotic behaviour though..nothing achieved but police have good reason to be suspicious and the young guy refused to give details which police can lawfully demand.
the problem with "first amendment auditors" is they insult or are difficult to clearly get a reaction for clicks on Youtube..absolutely nothing to do with keeping cops in check.
The US Constitution is an outdated document anyway..full of ideals that means everyone can carry around a sub machine gun.
These 'auditors" are the same as Sovereign Citizens like the mob who besieged Edinburgh Castle claiming the right under the Magna Carta which never applied to Scotland and most certainly didn't apply to the peasantry.
## this young guy really doesn't sound very bright. Wouldn't be surprised if he had someone older / smarter prompting him.

### Cop probably has a family too..hard on him.
It was going well until you bashed the US Constitution. Most Americans can't even get a SMG and many gun dealers are prohibited selling them.

I do agree i don't really see the point of filming police stations i think there are
a certain element who like to cause trouble and i think that's wrong but they're
all different.
I believe a memo has gone round police stations now telling them to ignore all auditors
and i've noticed this happening on a few videos already.
Filming in general as a hobby is good as long as people aren't out to cause trouble
and imtimidate police and other officials.

The Constitution is an idealistic document where the basic premise is everyone should be treated equally.
In reality the US is anything but an equally treated society.
I've looked at the channel this video comes from and they are clearly low level troublemakers out for Youtube clicks similar to US "first amendment auditors" who basically insult the Constitution as they choose a class of people- public sector workers like Post Office clerks, cops etc..to harangue and insult to get a reaction.
Actually the opposite of the Constitution ideals of fairness.
Depressing that mindless US social media trends get picked up in the UK and Australia.
