Another Brexit present... 2 Years, 7 Months ago
More poo in our water. Brexit has led to supply chain problems for water chemical -treatments...

Gov say dump untreated shit in the rivers. I can't help feeling most of them are untreated shits.

Someone remind me of an advantage to Brexit we have seen as yet?

Nothing wrong with Brexit. It's just managed badly by shit politicians who priorities are themselves.

Even Biden admitted it 'I don't work for you'

There may be nothing "wrong" with Brexit as such GM - when details are worked through - but what was the point of it?

I agree with GM. Brexit being a good idea or not is beside the point.
We have had plenty of notice because it dragged on and on for ever.
Before we "Brentranced" ( Sorry couldn't stop myself) we didn't have to put shit into rivers etc, so it is obviously not inevitable, just a gigantic excuse for laziness.

always with Green Man an opportunity to attack Crazy Joe Biden..

I can't see any possible benefits of Brexit..not one.

But open to hearing about them.

Not sure how any politician can get their head around such a huge complex problem and it came at a pretty bad time in history ( Covid etc).

#### I blame the media (who else ) for endlessly attacking politicians who are never allowed to change their minds under risk of damnation.

They should be openly allowed to say "I made a balls up of that so let's move on and do it differently" but they never can.

GM/Honey - you may well be right & there is a large factor of incompetence behind these Brexit stories but I'm interested really in understanding any benefit to the move? Like Hedda I can't see any yet.

Trade and trading agreements through history have promoted invention, ingenuity and peace between nations. Ok the EU went a lot further than trade. The press persuaded a lot of people that Brussels was a self-serving elite that can interfere in our lives. So now we only have a self serving elite in Westminster and none of the trade and movement benefits.

Hedda: yes wouldn't it be wonderful if we lived in a culture where our leaders could admit mistakes, and I agree the media is the main problem.

Look at the crap being flung at our Education Secretary currently for mixing up the names of two black sportsmen; assumptions of racism and career over (he was pathetic; but still...).

Maybe the guy was just busy & tired. Maybe that was all it was.
