1) This is a POLICE problem (not even just British - without a member of the public's smart phone, the killer of George Floyd would still be an American cop, probably promoted).
2) It's not just the BBC - ALL media is veered to a 95% against the truth because false allegations are so much easier to believe (and a far better story).

I've been reading Carolyn Woods' book "Sleeping with a psychopath" about her devastating experience with conman Mark Acklom, who cleaned her out of 850,000 pounds and left her destitute and suicidal. There are interviews with her and a Sky documentary about Acklom on YouTube. She also describes her experience with the police and it wasn't positive. As she describes it, they were incompetent and tricky.

I still have nightmares over what you said, YOU started the awful rumours that became "fact" YOU are accusing Victoria Derbyshire and the BBC of exactly the same crime as you aimed at ME and my family. I have no sympathy for you. I have asked time and time again for an apology from YOU via JK and Daniel. Nothing has ever come from you to say sorry. Shame on you!

Yes as you know Amanda I had such a go at him over JS that Stephen Fry begged me to stop! Karma arrived though and he experienced false allegations himself. None of us is perfect.

Agreed, but to be asked to admit you caused trauma is worthy of an apology. I'm still waiting. It's almost 9 years now!

After Gambaccini stated gossip, hearsay etc on Panorama re Jimmy Savile he should be expressing joy and thankfulness for what happened to him, in a similar way to Jimmy Savile. Or apologize, as we all can make mistakes.
