Keep hold on to your wood burners, learn to hunt, use garden incinerators to cook meat and protest like it was the 1970s. Not every slaughter house stuns their animals first. Those of us from weird cultures where we are taught survival skills can feel a bit smug in times like these.

People yesterday were talking about how they will manage with no oven or fridge, and I was thinking "So what, I'll just build them in the garden"

Like water. There is no such thing as a water shortage because with the exception of the small amount taken into space, every single drop of water that has ever been on earth is still here.
It just needs to be managed better.

If you're talking about things Halal meat. Where the cattle is is bled and drained to death whilst alive. Again no stun gun is needed.

Water shortage will be the next thing to worry about next year ! Despite being surrounded by the stuff. Don't forget UK and USA have a population and houses crisis.
