TOPIC: Strictly - Tom Fletcher

Strictly - Tom Fletcher 3 Years, 10 Months ago
Covid strikes again. The stupid tests (thousands of false positives) mean he and his partner miss next week. But how about all the rest of the cast and crew? They were mixing with the infected couple two days ago? No; the rules have changed and the government and BBC are now aware this is (and always was) a trivial virus. Just like flu (now we have vaccines). If Tom and his partner had mild flu with no symptoms they would a) never be tested - why bother? and b) not ruin a TV show.

But still the remnants of over reaction survive. Still we get daily DEATH figures (today will be around 60 I predict - fewer than die from a cut finger). Media hype gets fallen for by the vast majority (BUY PETROL!!!) and run-ins lives (BUY TOILET PAPER!!).

Stupidity based on gullibility and superficiality means the end of the species. Which I'm sure has happened before on all the millions of "dead" planets around the vast universe.

DOH!

Well I'm no doctor Honey and I simply do not know whether you can have symptomless flu or even very mild flu - that's my point - neither do the "experts". If they tested everyone for colds and millions had symptomless colds, would a positive result mean a ban on everything?
Should it?

Of course not.

Well precisely.
Actually, you can have symptomless flu and pass it on, so I have no idea why they test for one and not the other.
And good lord! Imagine if one of them got impetigo?

Cassandra King got it wrong! 60 deaths predicted for today Monday. Actually 40. This century media and humanity have totally lost the plot.

It is remarkable how many people will say that 40 people dying is a lot of people still...It is as if 40 people have been murdered rather than died along with many other hundreds today of natural causes; no sense of proportion whatsoever!

I suppose it is a lot, considering we are all vaccinated to the hilt and still not being breathed on by GPs, surgeons, blood test people, the workers in local council offices, or even health visitors in some areas, and that so many of the nightclubs, hairdressers, cafes and shops we might have enjoyed getting infected in have jolly well gone!

I believe the majority now dying are unvaccinated Honey (though I am sure some vaccinated will die of it); fair enough, up to them, but media please move on!!

And let's not forget the majority of vulnerable have already died. Only a few have got older and more frail. And the deaths figure is people who have died for any reason but tested positive for Covid 28 days earlier. It is total, sheer, meaningless stupidity.
