wonder how this case will end?

I know the judge was flooded with emails and phone calls from anti-vaxxers and threaten to have them investigated for "interfering with justice"

Expert asked about vitamin C, zinc during court challenge to COVID-19 vaccine mandate

## lock down in Sydney ends in October..blissful traffic free days will be over and Bondi flooded with the hoi polloi and ghastly people exercising.

Why do people exercise?

If rumours are correct Hedda it is beneficial to one's physical and mental health

Vax mandate will be interesting...though as someone who does follow science I am bemused as to the purpose of a mandate when it remains far from conclusive whether vaccination reduces transmission.

But I must stop being rational; we just don't live in that sort of world anymore...

Particularly the down under regions of it....

I've heard this WYOT but neither my parents or 2 sets of grandparents ever exercised and all lived to their mid 80s.

My mother's father was a Rugby Union player until his 40s- guess that's exercise but gave that up and took to gentle gardening..bloody healthy all the time

## unlike me who until about 20 years ago swam every day

I strongly suggest, Hedda, you get back to the swimming. Unlike Marathons (going on in London now) swimming puts no strain on any part of the body or mind.

Exercise is no guarantee of anything of course and I def believe you can over do it. There is increasing evidence of heart damage in "ultra athletes". But for most of us a walk, a swim is great. I do it because it improves my quality of life & happiness now.

Hedda - I know there are always examples of a 90 year old who smoked 80 fags a day etc but I wonder with your grandparebts whether they did in fact "exercise" more than people do now? May have had to walk everywhere, had physical jobs, housework etc. Probably had sensible portions of food as well and so kept the weight off..?

My beloved Mum smoked 60 cigarettes a day for 70 years and lived until 91. But it destroyed her circulation and before she died she told me that if she'd known the pain it would cause her last months, she'd never have smoked. My adoration for swimming is that it is good for the heart, the circulation, the lungs, respiratory system, joints, brain, blood, muscles, nerves. What's not to love?
