In the last couple of weeks reports about Molnipiravir were out and this Savid mentioned it today. This is not going to well to the recipients of the drug. I would rather have Covid again then !

Sorry GM the simplest explanation for me (so the one I will go for in the absence of compelling evidence not to) is that this is just another medical intervention to help against Covid and not have the NHS too stretched. Yes, people can make money from this. To paraphrase Peter Mandelson: I'm relaxed about this.

I do wish though that as well as medical interventions they told people the truth about themselves and took a preventative approach; in particular, letting people know that being very overweight is not okay if you don't wish to die early of Covid or anything else.

But dear old identity politics means we can't; everyone is equal - the athlete and the person with the same body fat percentage as a pork scratching....
