Yep - no I get where you were coming from was just joshing.

I suppose this is differet in that in a film you have to point the guns at people and fire; trusting they aren't live rounds!

What I, and I think GM, meant, is that this is not something you can easily do by mistake.

Go to a firing range. One of my biggest events of my life was meeting a very young Alex Jones at a range. He was polite and friendly at all times.

Apparently there was live rounds on the set. Why the fuck were live rounds ? Films use blanks and prop guns normally have smaller Chambers or magazines. 🤔
