When I was a kid his satire was inspirational. And much needed. As it is again today as Politics and the Establishments get away with more and more. Whatever you may think about the Insulation Brigade, as least they are doing something, saying something. Nobody else seems to give a shit (including the moon faced Scandinavian). Humour is a very effective weapon. You need to make someone laugh as you offend them.

he was good and got away with it by being nice.

I've been watching him on YT and ironically here he is in 1991 and sends up Donald Trump and Rupert Murdoch.
