TOPIC: Wearing masks
#215739
Wearing masks 2 Years, 5 Months ago
One of the problems of this now is that us gradually going deaf people cannot understand anything anyone says through a mask. Fortunately in most cases this doesn't matter as 98% of people (especially on TV) are talking shit.

Yes this is good. Imagine though Boris,
& pals holding a press conference to explain that mass infection of a milder form of the virus is the best thing that can happen! Their smoke & mirrors & political shennanigans on Covid have gone too far for truth & rationality to be attempted...

I'm going to a party in the back room of what will be a rammed pub on Friday evening. I shall pop into an empty off licence on the way to buy the birthday boy a nice bottle of malt.

It is illegal for me not to wear a mask in the off licence but not when projecting spittle onto the faces of partygoers (I don't get invited to many parties, for some reason...) as I lean in and shout to be heard over the music.

Funny old rules aren't they?

Extremely odd. Masks can stop breathe produced liquid particles from transmitting covid.

Often occurring through close contact speech and conversation in crowded environments.

However most people are reluctant to wear masks when chilling in a nightclub or pub, where you are unable to communicate without almost screaming.

They are indeed. Yesterday the busses had open windows. Today they are shut because everyone has a mask on, but the open window is more effective.

I know it is just trying to stop the inevitable isn't it? Just no one likes to admit this.

The net is closing on me. My daughter (7) tested positive this morning. She is the 5th in her class alone. We are off to get PCR tests in a bit...My nephew is positive and - in a separate family branch - my niece. All are fine just had slightly achy legs and are pissed off they are mising things like school Xmas jumper day!

I really think that - whatever ones views on restrictions - the horse has bolted and it is pretty pointless now anyway. Schools are total breeding grounds.

Just get jabbed and be sensible.

.

Not long got back from the supermarket; half the shoppers were not wearing masks. Supermarket don't want to enforce the rules, and mandatory is not law.

Supermarket staff have enough problems during the Christmas period. putting stock out quickly as possible, dealing with silly customers with their questions, and managers breathing down their necks so they meet the sales targets.

If someone questions you for not wearing a mask just say "I am exempt, so fuck off and you're a nosey bastard" it works like a charm.

If you go to any Christmas markets and you see Moonshine for sale it is worth buying Wyot. I can't recommend flavours because it's down to personal opinion.

However always ask for a sample of each bottle.

I can't go anywhere at the moment GM until I get a (hopefully) negative Covid PCR test returned; but when I am legally allowed to leave my house again I will check it out; thanks for the tip...

PCR test centre was interesting. If I didn't have Covid this morning I may well have it now after shuffling in a 90 minute queue with Covid positives....Hilariously, we spotted 2 of the children's teachers in the queue...

Stop testing Wyot.

Enjoy your life.

There is no Wyot Part 2:The Sequel.

Glad you will take my tip of Moonshine, I would love to suggest the flavours but everyone has a different taste palate. I don't want you wasting anything from 15 to 25 pounds.
