KOHs followers will be well aware of my views on lockdown restrictions. However, let's suppose for a moment that they can achieve anything much and are worth it. Is our Gov actually serious in their actions?
Plan B! Work at home "if possible" (what the hell does that mean?) but go to your Christmas parties, nightclubs, football matches and nativity plays. Children continue to go to school (19 cases in my childrens' and counting...) and take Covid home for the parents and grandparents.
FFS they know this will achieve NOTHING. Let's be un-cynical and not suggest this is only being done to divert attention away from Downing St parties. It can't be to "save the NHS" (and why is no one in the media asking the obvious question here - why haven't you massively increased NHS capacity during the past 2 years or taken at least ANY steps towards it? Capacity, in fact, has REDUCED...) otherwise restrictions would not be so vague and pointlessly narrow. Otherwise, we would be in lockdown.
My theory is we have a PM who is actually spot on with his thinking. He doesn't believe in restrictions because they are a hysterical media-driven over reaction. But he lacks the courage or leadership to see it through. If he still wrote his Telegraph pieces and wasn't PM he would sound like me.
So we get these late, political theatre, half-hearted measures. No one in power knows how to end this nonsense without affecting their careers. They have no idea how to unravel the expectations in the public - fed by an irresponsible self- serving media - they themselves generated: that everyone can be protected somehow from this modest virus.
Another repulsive aspect is that it is mostly only the middle classes who have the option to "work from home" presumably leaving the rest of us to perish!
An interesting UK perspective by Norman Fenton on Covid vaccine efficiency and safety statistics here:
and an equally interesting US perspective by Chris Martenson who reviews a previously hidden report by Pfizer to the FDA covering the first 90 days of ‘post authorization’ vaccine safety data here:

Yep keyworkers expected to carry on mingling and more small busineses can go to the wall...And for what? What will it achieve?
It is actually gaslighting us, like an abusive relationship, because I am sure I am not the only one who sees the rules that make no sense and think "Is it me? Did I miss something?"

Not long got back from work, went to a couple of shops before driving home. I see less and less people wearing masks and very few lanyards. I got more looks singing singing the Glen Campbell's classic Country Boy (You Got Your Feet In L.A) in the aisles than the 'Maskless Wonders'.
