If they did, presumably they would welcome Adele's celebration of them? Adele did not say she is only proud of being a woman who started life biologically female, after all.

Either they see themselves as women or they don't. If they do, no offence can be taken, if they don't - why are they offended?

I was flipping through my vinyl and CD collection the other day, I have more female bands, singers than male singers and bands. It's because some stuff is better than others to my music taste.

Did you ever see The Go-Go's live Wyot ? I saw them several times back in the day all superb gigs.

One my favourite groups of all time is Indigo Girls, I have seen live lot's of times across UK and USA with friends. I own every album they have released. I don't even agree with their politics and their speeches but it hasn't stopped me being a fan. Their music is great so that all that counts !
