I have no handle on the current Music scene, admittedly and didn't watch The Brits. But it strikes me that with Adele winning several awards the scene can't really be very exciting or innovative...Nice enough background pop I suppose but on the invention and innovation scale; really!? I just can't be bothered with it all now.

Yet she did no gigs at Vegas but told fans to buy merch at the stands regardless. I haven't bought merch in years at a concert, the shirts shrink after the first wash and the logos or pattern fade away very quickly.

Adele is a commodity.
