Post Office 3 Years, 5 Months ago
The look back at the Post Office scandal is - like everything - focussing on the wrong thing. Yes, the Post Office were to blame to a degree but the real shocker is, as usual, police and CPS behaviour. Can't people see, can't media see, can't politicians see - this was almost entirely shoddy, incompetent police work and dreadful, useless CPS work? FOR GOD'S SAKE humanity, wake up and smell the coffee.

I see a woman who was told by her lawyers to plead guilty is still ruined by it. Remember I wrote a song called Plead Guilty (urging "whatever you do - DON'T plead guilty")? You can hear it on You Tube, Spotify etc. Sometimes even defence lawyers are incompetent and useless.

"Lives were ruined; families destroyed; businesses bankrupted; suicides"... yes - but by what? By useless (or corrupt) police investigation; pointless and stupid CPS prosecution; wrong trial conclusions. The system is broken. We MUST mend it. and what we must NOT do (media; pay attention) is allow a good story to deflect attention to the real problem. Just like "we'll solve police problems by getting rid of Cressida Dick". Oh no. No No No. Fine, find the incompetents in the Post Office and punish them. But police and CPS, if they were any good, should have stopped the Witch Hunt in its stride. Just like the False Allegations Industry. Do NOT believe all allegations. Investigate them, examine them, then decide. THAT is policing.
