You can't really blame Prince Andrew for reachign a settlement that could go on for years and consume his life.

When you have a litigant that is as tough as nails and has zilch empathy, they can monster the other party.

But JK is correct and now one of the most powerful men has caved in to the false (or even real)claimants..no person is safe.

And proof in the form of a former Chief Prosecutor and a very high profile one making kludicrous claims which should worry anyone who has been prosecuted by him in the past.

He claims the ghastly Guiffre will "donate all her settlement to her charity" (how convenient she runs charity just as the Captain Tom travesty is exposed) when there is no media report stating as much, rather that Prince Andrew will donate to that charity and presumably..she will also get a settlement.

Plus the same prosecutor says he knows numerous assault victims and while Prince Andrew says he would like to help victims, they would not be interested after what Andrew has said about them?

What has Andrew said about any other victims? Nothing, nada zip.

And right there is the mindset of the CPS. All bullshit.

Sins of omission.

It's just a small detail but this is a great example of how the media (Daily Mail but they all do it..Guardian, Times etc) deliberately leaves out boring but important details.

Of course this poor family deserves every penny they get and it was utterly tragic..for Baldwin as well.

I've worked on 3 major films and the first great Mini Series..fairly innocuous positions.

On the 2 US productions filmed in the UK, I had to sign the most complex documents and one was a very heavy insurance policy that absolved me of any actions on the set bar if I acted deliberately illegally or criminally. Everyone signs these including the actors.

As tragic as this case is, Alec Baldwin will be covered by highly complex but comprehensive insurance policy that will cover his actions (no suggestion of criminality). The family will deserve whatever they get (maybe as much as $14.5 Million for accusing an heir to the throne of rape)..hopefully higher.

By leaving out this important detail..social media and the rest of the established media can go bananas and make up the rest..the media will egg it along and that's how a sensation and Good Story ( © KIng of Hits Hits )is created.
