This is funny but ironic 3 Years, 5 Months ago
Leeds have lost millions left in Jimmy Savile's will to their hospital which would have saved childrens' lives. The money stolen by the lawyers of liars. Now York is saying it doesn't want Andrew to be Duke because Virgin Hooker lied about him. Why? This is still funny though.

I pointed out to a journalist friend a few years ago that Hope For Heroes lost $Millions from Savile's bequest that went to false claimants just putting in a reasonable request which would never be investigated and she actually responded "these charities should refuse to take money like that" and I responded..

" well fuck you c*nt..you pay for disabled military vets to have a false leg with your frigging holier then thou attitude".

She's never spoken to me again.

This is a reason I could not bear the boring and pompous Christopher Hitchens which some believed was absolute sacrilege (mainly because I attended one of his lectures which was the most mind numbing event as he droned on and on and on.."

He attacked Mother Theresa for accepting a whopping great cheque from the ghastly Nicolae Ceaușescu as though homeless Indian women on the streets of Calcutta should starve themselves for the ideals of the Great Bore.

The Savile affair was one of the biggest scams of the century.

Yes this fake "morality" confuses me. Are humans really that thick? Do they really feel it is better to let children die than to accept "dirty" money? It's in the papers now about Charles and honours. Who cares? If someone is stupid enough to fork out a few million to be called Lord King, and the money is used to save dying children, isn't that a good - even great - thing? NOOO - not if your agenda is "Destroy the Royal Family" or "Destroy the BBC". Yet the BBC does not accept money from corrupt dictators or corporations (buy a full page advert in the Times today!!!). And NOOO - not if you're an anti-Royal for "moral" reasons.

You'd be amazed at the amount of money returned and also refused whilst there was still money in the SJS pot.

I tried to donate £1,300 each to two charities that were donated from his book. Both refused..... I was stood outside the place we held his funeral when I received a call from one Charity to say "No" and I sobbed, the guy on the end of the phone was sympathetic but stood his ground.

Interestingly I had a standing order to a particular charity and when they said "No" I cancelled my monthly contribution. A third charity had been supported by my family for over 100 years, they'll never receive anything from us again.

As you know, there wasn't a penny left either in the Charity account nor his personal account - I still weep when I think of the hefty bonuses the Law firms dished out to individuals and share holders.

I believe in Karma though.

Just appalling Amanda and so incredibly stupid. I remember when there was a scare about Oxfam and hundreds of donors pulled out for the stupidest of reasons. Whether rumours are true, false or in between, it makes no sense at all. And isn't it extraordinary that media and intelligent people cannot understand. I just had lunch with an old friend who said Andrew's pay off proved his guilt. When I explained the reality, he totally changed his mind. But why does it take personal intervention to explain something I consider obvious? None of us really care about Andrew or SJS unless we are closely involved - either with the individual or in general. Mostly we just accept simplistic tabloid headlines and think no further. As has happened with Covid. As happened with Brexit. As will happen again and again until our species disappears (hopefully after I myself have disappeared due to old age).
