Oh, no they're not.

I've just been reading this on (rolls eyes) Mumsnet. It beggars belief how some people (mainly women here, I think) really do believe that women never, or only very rarely, falsely accuse men of rape. There are a few commonsense posts but it seems that anyone who disagrees with the narrative is somehow letting women down and is a 'rape apologist'.

It really amazes me - even after Carl Beech; even after Jemma Beale; even after Danny Day (I gather his trial is this year). People don't want to see the truth; too time consuming for their little minds, busy working out what's for dinner.

People tend to remember the first thing they are told and disregard anything they hear afterwards that contradicts it.
I suppose it saves them the bother of thinking.
