Interesting that efforts to introduce these have failed - in two major sports - despite the enormous amount of money available.
Football clubs in Europe (many owned by billionaires; even countries) decided against joining a European Super League, eventually.
A similar effort (led from Saudi) now has failed to conquer the major golf events. Huge money is there, but the PGA, USPGA, Masters etc. - have no interest.
NASCAR bought out ARCA however there is still no major interest in telecast rights. It's shown on Fox Sports and MAVTV in USA but nothing in Europe.
When Tony 'Smoke' Stewart launched Superstar Racing Experience (SRX) it had lots of publicity and video game launch it was shown FTA on CBS in USA. However not a UK broadcast it wouldn't of been expensive to buy the rights to.
If Super Leagues were to launch it wouldn't be about fans but how much the rights will go for. Sky and BT Sport will go in a bidding war. No doubt a lot of empty seats.
