I sense I am alone (as a poster anyway) here on being a cricket lover; but for those who are it is terribly sad news that Rodney Marsh & Shane Warne have both passed away within a day or two of one another - both of heart attacks. True greats of the game (even if you don't like cricket do watch a clip of Warne's "ball of the century" bowled to a visible stunned Mike Gatting and seemingly defying the laws of physics). RIP.

Some media now posting a positive drug test story about Warne from 2001. FFS. There seems to be zero integrity to 99% of journalists these days.
In this case, I think it is a subtle way of saying he had a heart attack because he was on a bender, not as a side effect of the vaccine, as repeatedly suggested by gloating fools.

Maybe..but more likely just DOPING & SPORT = CLICKS! Add DEAD to boot! Make it NEW again for 24 hrs. Fuck his reputation and the fact that he is still warm...But yes lots of idiots seeing patterns that don't exist. Since when has Middle aged man dies of heart attack been especially unusual...

A Sri Lankan, often criticised for his unusual bowling technique, likened by some to throwing.
It was deemed to be caused by a congenital arm defect, and his Wisden and other accolades stand.
What sort of defect? We could probably be arrested for saying it now, but I remember being told at school that the reason girls cant throw or bowl as good as boys is because our arms are shaped wrong.
I thought Warne piled on the pounds - big mistake. I bet he smoked and drank - not a good idea for anyone but stupid for an athlete. As for drugs - who cares? Not for me but some indulge. However, everything taken together tended to imply an early death might be on the cards. Just watched George Best on Wogan. I hate watching people be their worst enemy.

It meant his arm was bent so he he couldn't help partly throwing the ball while bowling, illegal in cricket, but because it was congenital, he was allowed to keep throwing the ball.
Some things are sacred...
