We have all admired your patriotism and bravery. However, it should be clear now that the West is not prepared to go to war with Russia over Ukraine.

We will keep putting the pressure on economically.

Persisting with resistance will only mean more of your people die. The point has come where persisting with fighting will become about you, just like the war itself is about Putin.

Don't let that happen.
